What is Conveyancing?
Conveyancing is the process of transferring the legal ownership of real estate from one person to another. While the definition of conveyancing is simple enough, the fact that conveyancing is a legal procedure does introduce a number of complexities.
Do I need a Conveyancer?
The short answer is ‘yes’. When you are buying or selling property, you will need to work with a conveyancer to help you complete the real estate transaction. For those who are simply transferring the property title, conveyancers are still very helpful. They can help you avoid common pitfalls that can come with title transfer and will ensure that all legal documents are filled out accurately.
Will I be charged extra charges I was not aware of?
No you will not, we ensure our fees remain low and do not charge you any fees that have not been quoted or advised to you.
Can I make an appointment out of business hours?
We understand that it’s not always possible for clients to arrange appointments during the hours of 9am – 5pm. We are available for appointments after hours (evenings and weekends) by prior arrangement whether it be at our office or at your home. Just call our office and we will see how we can best accommodate you. As you do not need to live local to your chosen conveyancer we do ensure that we provide efficient service to clients are not local or are interstate/overseas by way of email, Express Post™ and DX Express™ services which ensures that all correspondence and documents can be delivered securely and promptly.
